| Artist Statement | My participation was a trilogy of ceramic sculptures in which I aimed to combine elements of my personal painting with the traditional motifs of Ikaros ceramics. The symbols, hidden messages and humorous allusions that I use in my work were mixed with animals, boats and rivers of Ikaros Studying the themes of the factory over the years, I chose three sections that are performed amusingly on the three ceramics with feminine references that I had built. In "Rhodian Night", mythical creatures of the night rampage around sculpted female breasts, while symbols of protection for the evil eye watch over them. |
